General Admission Information
Admission is open for classes Pre-KG to Grade 9, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, or region, subject to the admission rules of Shikshkarni Central School.
Registration for Admission
Those who wish to admit their ward/s should collect the registration forms from the school office or download it directly from our website and submit it at the office before the closure of registrations.
- LKG Eligibility: A child seeking admission to LKG should have completed 3 Years 10 months of age as on 1st June of the year of admission.
- Class 1 Eligibility: A child seeking admission to Class 1 should have completed 5 Years 10 months as on 1st June of the year of admission. This age criteria applies sequentially to other higher classes as well.
Admission Process & Documents
Short-listed students, along with parents, will be invited for a pre-admission counselling session following the scrutiny of registration forms.
Required Documents at the time of admission:
- 1. Date of Birth Certificate (for LKG, UKG, and Class 1)
- 2. UKG Study Certificate (for Class 1)
- 3. Assessment Records / Mark Reports of the previous academic year (Class 2 and above)
- 4. Two recent passport-size photographs of the student
- 5. Original Transfer Certificate (TC) for transfer admissions (Class 2 and above)
* Both parents and the student must be present at the time of final admission.
Fee Particulars
Details regarding the fee schedule for various classes are available at the School Office.
The total fees include a one-time payable Capital Expenditure Fee (approved by the Govt. of Karnataka), Annual Tuition Fee, and charges for Sports, Library, Lab, and outdoor educational programs. Transportation fee is excluded from the annual tuition fees.
Note: A marginal increase (10–15%) in the Annual Fee may occur each academic year to cover rising operational costs, staff increments, and facility upgrades.
